Katherine A. Baugh, M.D., is a board-certified general surgeon and performs a range of procedures, specializing in minimally-invasive techniques. Dr. Baugh completed a fellowship in endocrine surgery and has a special interest in caring for patients with endocrine disease. She uses surgical techniques with the goal of rapid recovery and improved quality of life.
Dr. Baugh believes every person is unique and therefore each ailment they experience is individual to them. She feels that to treat patients well you have to understand who they are as a person in order to match them with the right treatment. Dr. Baugh loves getting to know people and talking with them about their lives. Practicing medicine allows her to not only get to know people in the community but help them as well.
